Into the Tank: the hardcore partie
Madrid has one of the cheapest and biggest net of subways of europe. For only 1 € (6,40€ the 10 way single ticket) you can go almost everywhere to the speed of ray. If you are arriving by plane and you don't take a lot of baggage the cheaper and faster option if you need to to move to the downtown is to take the line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios (15 minutes). You can print the subway map above or ask for a free copy at the box office.
The best way to move to Infinitamente gay, the official partie is by subway. Take the line 10 to Lago Station and follow all the people. The main entrance its just 8 minuteswalking from the station.
The net of bus is very nice too and the best option if you want to enjoy the beatiful view of Madrid. The price is the same of the subway and the 10 way single ticket is valid for bouth.
Metro is running everyday from 06:30 to 02:00.
The tariff of the taxi from the airport to the downtow its around 20-25 €.
Madrid cuenta con una de las redes de metro mejores ymas baratas de europa. Por 1 euro (6,40 € 10 way ticket) podrás moverte por toda la ciudad a la velocidad del rayo. Si llegas en avión y no traes demasiado equipaje la opción más barata y rápida para trasladarte al centro es coger la línea 8 en dirección a Nuevos Ministerios (15 minutos).
A Madrid Arena (lugar donde se celebra la fiesta oficial del Europride) se puede llegar en autobús o taxi (si tienes la suerte de encontrar úno), pero lo mas recomendable es que vayas y vuelvas en Metro. La parada de metro es Lago (línea 10) y está a 15 minutos del centro más unos 8 minutos andando, si no sabes cómo llegar simplemente sigue a la riada de personas.
El metro está abierto todos los días desde las 06:30 am hasta las 02:00 am, aunque no te recomiendo que te demores
mas tarde de la 01:30.
La red de autobuses es tan extensa y tan barata como la del Metro así que si prefieres moverte viendo la ciudad y no tienes prisa es una buena opción.
A modo orientativo el precio aproximado de un taxi desde el aeropuerto al centro es de 20-25 euros.
Chueca is a gay village in Madrid. It is located just to the north of the downtown core and old city, centered around the Plaza de Chueca and Chueca metro station.

Chueca es el barrio gay. Está situada al norte del centro de la ciudad, cerca de la parte turística y el centro de la misma se encuentra en la Plaza de Chueca y la emblemática estación de metro de Chueca.

Gran Vía its one of the main streets of Madrid and its famous because the beatifull buildings, the cinemas and the theatres and its also one of the main scenaries along the parade.

The history of Madrid´s Pride has had its lights and its shades and the election of the official partie enclousure has not been allways the best one.
Two years ago the organization surprised everybody when announced that the new enclosure that would congregate the official party would be thel spectacular Palacio de Congresos known with the name of Madrid Arena. 30.000 m2, three flors with all the services you may need, a nice price, a perfect organitation, differents atmospheres for different people, a nice production of music, light and perfomances that were improved in the second edition.

Space of Sound: the other partie/Space of Sound: la otra fiesta
It is not the official partie but for many people its the best one. Space of Sound its the sunday session of Macumba disco and its located at the top of Chanmartin train/subway station and its one of the best conditioned discos of the world to enjoy House music.
High voltage in all the meaning of the word, testosterone in vein to enjoy really nice house music, wondwerfull perfomances, and hundreds of horny and high georgeus studs readys to have fun.
If you buy your entrance in advance you will avoid yourself not to have to line up and you will ensure that u could get into the disco.
No es la fiesta oficial pero para muchos es la mejor fiesta. Space of Sound es la sesión dominical de la discotecta Macumba que se encuentra localizada en el piso superior de la estación de trenes de Chanmartin, y es una de las discotecas mejor acondicionadas en el mundo para escuchar música House.
Alto voltaje en todos los sentidos de la palabra, testosterona en vena pera disfrutar de la buena musica house, actuaciones chulas y cientos de chulazos impresionantes, calientes y colocados con ganas de pasarlo bien.
Si compras tu entrada anticipadamente no tendrás que hacer cola y te asegurarás no tener que quedarte afuera por aforo completo.
In Spain the traffic of spiritual suplementsis illegal but not the private consumtion. Its very easy to find drugs out there but its very much better if you take them from home. If you have drugs in a public place like Space of Sound be discreet , because if the security services see u having drugs you will be expelled of the disco.
Space of Sound has an infirmary service if you get ill for any reasson. The responsables are veterinarians of the Plaza de Toros, really nice people who knows what to do if you have taken too much of something you shouldn´t.
The infirmary service its inside the disco and if you are recovered after some cares and you want to continue with the partie they will let you to do it.
The prices use to be: 5€ x, 60 € 1gr coc or keta, -its not easy to toi buy ghb at the disco-.
En España el tráfico de drogas es ilegal pero no el consumo particular. Es fácil encontrar drogas en cualquier lugar pero es mucho mejor si las llevas de casa. Si tomas drogas en algún lugar público como Space of Sound procura ser discreto porque si te pillan los servicios de seguridad serás expulsado de la disco.
Space of Sound tiene un servicio de enfermería si te pones malo por cualquier razón. Los responsables son veterinarios de la Plaza de Toros de las Ventas, gente maja que realmente sabe lo que se hace si has tomado mucho de algo que no debieras haber tomado.
El servicio de enfermería se encuentra dentro de la discoteca así si después de haber sido tratado te encuentras mejor normalmente te dejan volver a pasar a continuar la fiesta.
El precio de las drogas suele ser: 5€ extasis, 60 1gr de cocaina o ketamina. -el ghb no es fácil de encontrar en la disco-.

What people do the day before?/¿Que hace la gente el día antes?
Although the calendar of the pride is full of events and this year more than ever, the three more important days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
If you have not had the luck to land in Madrid some days before to enjoy the cultural offer and the surroundings and you have not the chance to get contagious with the festival atmosphere don't worry because Friday is the first day of the the crazy weekend.
All Madrid and specially Chueca is boilling of people ready to have fun. Forget to have dinner If you have not booked a table at any of the nice restaurants of Chueca, but there are some fast foots where you can eat something before start the partie. VIPS (there are many shops-restaurantes-cafe/bar in madrid called VIPS and its the only place where a salad taste chiken and chiken taste salad, but the best of these popular places is that you can go at any time of the day and until late in the night to eat something, forget something romantic, chic, or glamorous but you can have an international menu, its clean and not expensive at all) in Gran Via there are two.
Friday night people use to celebrate private parties at their houses but the truly partie will be at the streets. Chueca will look great to enjoy the music at any of the differents scenaries you could find. The bigger its situated in Vazquez de Mella where you could enjoy House Music having a drink at any of the terraces. The partie in Chueca use to finish between 2 or 3 in the night at this time people goes to any of the disco. Depending your prefferences there are many places where you can go to start... to start whatever you want....
Its soon to know wich disco will be the best to enjoy the friday night, (Spank it has been the fashion disco this year but Heaven (the best disco to enjoy sunday night) has been bought by Space of Sound and people has not decided yet wich one will be the preferred. Discos use to open until 6:00 so if you want to continue the partie try to enjoy a private hot chilly out or, go to sleep because saturday it gonna be a long ant tired day.
Aunque el calendario del orgullo gay está repleto de eventos los tres días que congregan mas cantidad de gente son el viernes, el sábado y el domingo. si no has tenído la suerte de aterrizar en Madrid unos dias antes para disfrutar de la oferta cultural y de los alrededores de Madrid (Toledo, Segovia, El Escorial) y no has tenído tiempo de contagiarte con la atmósfera festíva no te preocupes porque el viernes es el primer dia de este fin de semana loco.
Todo Madrid, especialmente Chueca estará hirviendo de gente con ganas de pasarlo bien. Olvida salir a cenar si no has reservado mesa en algúno de los buenos restaurantes de Chueca, aunque hay sitios de comida rápida donde te darán de comer. VIPS (hay muchos restaurantes, tienda, caftería, bar de esta cadena en madrid y es el único lugar donde el pollo sabe a ensalada y la ensalada a pollo, pero lo mejor de estos sitios populares es que puedes ir a comer a cualquier hora del día y hasta tarde . Olvida algo romántico, chic o glamuroso pero podrás degustar comida internacional, es limpio y no demasiado caro (en Gran Vía hay dos).

Especialmente en Chueca donde podrás disfrutar de la música en cualquiera de los muchos escenarios que podrás encontrar. El mas grande de todos se encuentra en la Plaza de Vázquez de Mella donde podrás disfrutar de la música House al tiempo que te tomas algo en una de las terrazas. La fiesta en Chueca suele terminar entre 2:00 y 3:00 que es cuando la gente se marcha a algúna de las discos que hay dependiendo del rollo que le vaya a cáda uno.
Es pronto para saber que discoteca será la mejor para disfrutar del viernes por la noche (Spank ha sido la discoteca de moda este año pero hace dos semanas Space of Sound compró Heaven con la intención de disputarle la noche del viernes a Heaven y la gente aún no ha decidido por cuál se decantará. Las disco cierran sobre las 6:00 así que es hora de que te decidas si te vas a algúno de los chilly out o te vas a dormir un rato a tu hotel porque el sábado va a ser un día muy largo.
What people do the parade day?/¿Que hace la gente el día del desfile?
Saturday its the great day but I suggest u to take it easy because its going to be a long day. If you get up early you can enjoy the city of Madrid having a walk. What about Prados Museum, or the most important private gallery of the world Thisen Gallery, do you preffer modern art, then go to Reina Sofia Museum. If museums are too much after Friday night you can take your VISA with you and go for shopping in Chueca area. The commercial schedule is from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00. If you preffer high standign shops most of them are located in Barrio de Salamanca area.
If you have not been invited to any of the private pool parties, you can take a rest at any of the public pools. Lago (the popular gay one), Canal de Isabel II (not so popular and not so gay but very much better than Lago), the pool of Barrio del Pilar, if you like nudism.
There are several gyms where you can work out for one single day. My favorite one is Opera Gym. It is small, not a great one but its enought and nice if you preffer to work out you muscles instead of showing your last and expensive licra model. Gay friendly people and nice ambient.
The parade use to start at 17:00 at one of the main simbols of Madrid, La Puerta de Alcalá. Goes across Alcalá Street and takes Gran Via street run until Plaza de España. Get ready for 5 hours, probably more, of disco trucks, music, amazing studs, and incredible people enjoing one of the funniest popular parties you will ever enjoy in your life.
After the parade you will ber very tired, but take a rest and a shower because the night has just begun. Every place in downtown, Gran Via or Chueca will be a partie on the street. The main partie will be in Vazquez de Mella so if you have time go there to have a drink before Infinitamente gay.
Believe me. The best way to go to Infinitamente gay is by subway. Dont think about it. Just follow the people and try not to loose the last train. I will go around 1,30. Not later. Infinatamente gay its the official partie wich it means that there must be something for every kind of people: for example there´s a leather area with a dark room inside and dress code access.
Last 15.000 enjoyed the partie Infinitamente gay with no known problemns and no popular complains. A great success.

El sábado es el gran día pero te recomiendo que te lo tomes con mucha calma porque va a ser un día muy largo. Si te levantas temprano tal vez te apetezca darte una vuelta por la ciudad. ¿Que tal el Museo del Prado?, o la galería privada más importante del Mundo, la galería Thissen, ¿prefieres el arte contemporáneo?, ve al Museo Reina Sofía. Si la idea de ir de Museos es demasiado depués de la noche del viernes coge la VISA y ve de compras por las tiendas de Chueca. Si prefieres las tiendas de alto standing la mayoría se encuentran localizadas en el Barrio de Salamanca.
Si no has tenído la suerte de que te inviten a algúna de las exclusivas pool parties puedes ir a refrescarte a algúna de las piscinas públicas como Lago (la piscina gay de siempre), el Canal de Isabel II (no tan gay pero mucho mas limpia que Lago) o si te va el nudismo puedes ir a la Piscina del Barrio del Pilar.
Hay varios gimnasios a los que puedes ir pagando por un dia. Mi favorito es el Opera Gym. No es el mejor y es pequeño, pero tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar para trabajar el cuerpo sin tener que preocuparte de si llevas puesto el último modelo de licra, tiene buen ambiente, van chicos guapos y el trato es muy amable. Abre todo el día hasta las 23:00 y está a dos minútos de la Plaza de Callao.
El desfile comenzará sobre las 17:00 en uno de los símbolos de Madrid, la Puerta de Alcalá. Irá por la calle de Alcalá, tomará Gran Vía y terminará en la Plaza de España. Prepárate para 5 horas viendo carrozas, escuchando música, viendo chulazos y gente de todo tipo disfrutando de una de las fiestas populares mas divertidas que habrás visto en tu vida.
Después de la manifestación estarás cansado. Descansa un rato antes de continuar porque te queda un buen trecho. Cada tramo de calle de Chueca será una fiesta. Aunque seguramente la mejor estará en Vázquez de Mella, ve a tomar una copa allí antes de ir a Infinitamente gay.
Créeme. La mejor forma de ir a infinitemante gay será en metro. No lo pienses. Sigue a la gente, coge el metro y no pierdas el último. Yo lo cogeré antes de la 1,30. Infinitamente gay es la fiesta oficial lo que significa que tiene que ser una fiesta para todos y donde todos puedan divertirse. Por ejemplo habrá una zona leather con código de vestimenta y cuarto oscuro...
El año pasado fueron 15.000 personas sin que se produjeran altercados ni problemas graves. La fiestá terminó sobre las 07:00.
The day after?/¿El dia después ?
Do you want more partie?... Be ready because the best is for cumming. May suggest you to take a rest and a shower before Space of Sound?. I know, I know... there so many studs out of there and so many invitations for private orgies that who can thing about sleep?. Its up to you if you want to know the best disco of Madrid but believe me, the best its there.
People who knows how long and intensive is the partie use to arrive to Space of Sound not before 12:00 and not to much time after 14:00 h. Have you bought your ticket in advance?. Do it.
People use to go very high, very friendly, and very horny (if my mother would see that!!!!)at Space of Sound. Be carefull with drugs, be responsable and enjoy the partie.
Around 20:00-21:00 people leaves Spaces to take a rest. There´s one more partie to enjoy and last year was one of the best. Heaven. It begins at 01:30 so you have some time to take a shower, to have some sex, to eat something and have another shower before starting again. Its soon to know where will be located: problably the Heaen partie will be at Florida Park( a nice disco inside Retiros Park) because its bigger than Heaven disco.
Todavía quieres mas fiesta?, prepárate porque aún está lo mejor por venir. ¿Puedo sugerirte que te tomes un descanso y una ducha antes de ir a Space of Sound?. -Lo sé, lo sé. Se que me vas a decir que ¿como te vas a ir a dormir con la de invitaciones que tienes para unirte a algúna orgía?. Ok macho, depende de ti si quieres ir a la mejor disco de madrid pero creeme, lo mejor estará allí.
La gente que sabe lo largo e intenso que son las fiestas en Space no suelen llegar antes de las 12:00 y no mucho mas tarde de las 14:00. ¿Has comprado la entrada anticipada?, Hazlo.
La gente suele ser muy amistorsa, va muy pedo y está muy caliente (si mi madre viera eso). Ten cuidado con las drogas, se responsable y disfruta de la fiesta.
Sobre las 20:00-21:00 la gente se marcha a casa para tomar un descanso. Hay mas fiesta que disfrutar y el año pasado la fiesta de Heaven fue para muchos la mejor. Empieza a 01:30 así que tienes tiempo de tomar una ducha, echar un polvo, comer algo y tomar otra ducha antes de comenzar de nuevo. Todavía no se sabe donde se celebrará la fiesta: probablemente en Florida Park (una sala que está en el Parque del Retiro) porque es mucho mas grande que la sala de Heaven. La fiesta probablemente durará hasta el lunes por a las 07:00 y los que todavía queden en pié se irán a follar, a dormir, o puede que a alguno le quede ánimo para segur de fiesta.

Space of Sound has a capacity for 4000 persons and everybody knows that this year many people will not get into the partie. If you could not buy your ticket in advance and you are not goint to line up there are many other options.
Its not confirmed yet but it almost sure that La Riviera will open sunday morning. It will be open from sunday afternoon and until the night partie of Heaven in Florida park. La Riviera its a famous disco in madrid, big and well aconditioned and its sure that the partie will be really nice.
After La Riviera everydody will meet at Florida Park disco until monday morning.
Space of Sound tiene una capacidad para 4.000 personas y todo el mundo sabía que este año la mayoría de la gente se va a quedar sin poder ir. Pero si no has logrado comprar tu entrada anticipada y no tienes la menor intención de ir a hacer cola el dia de la fiesta hay otras opciones que puedes tener en cuenta.
Aún esta por confirmar pero es prácticamente seguro que La Riviera abrirá sus puertas el domingo por la tarde. Lo hará el domingo por la tarde y antes de la fiesta Heaven en el Florida Park. La Riviera es una famosa sala de madrid, grande y muy bien acondicionada y aunque no tiene la increible calidad de sonido seguro que la fiesta que organicen será todo un éxito.
Después de la La Riviera y tras el éxito del año pasado es casi seguro que todo el mundo se encontrará en la fiesta que se organizará en el Florida Park.
